Curtains
These are standards and may vary depending upon the look that you want. Take the width of the window – add 5 inch on either side of the window. Take the height – add 4 inch above the window and 5 inch below the window, if the window is at the middle of the wall. For full length window/door, take the height from 4 inch above the window till 1 inch above the ground. Use only metal measuring tape and not the cloth measuring tape.

Lace fabric can be used as the sheer curtain; cotton is a light material that cleans easily, linen is a heavier fabric that can create a dynamic living room design, while blackout polyester fabrics can help create heat and cold insulation.
